This policy covers the Ranked Gifts website and the Ranked Gifts iOS app. We keep it short because we collect very little.
What the app stores on your device
The Ranked Gifts iOS app stores the following on your device only: the people you add (names, notes), gift ideas, occasions, and any photos you attach to an idea or person. This data lives in local app storage and is not uploaded anywhere unless you explicitly share it through a gift circle (see below).
What the circles service stores
When you create or join a gift circle, we operate a small service on Cloudflare that stores: your Apple user identifier (the opaque ID returned by Sign in with Apple), your chosen display name, the circle name, the items shared to the circle, and claim status on those items. This is the minimum required to let circle members see and claim gifts together.
We do not collect your email address, phone number, contacts, or any other contact data from your device. Sign in with Apple is configured so that no email is relayed to us.
Amazon Associates
Ranked Gifts participates in the Amazon Associates program. When you tap an "See on Amazon" link and buy something, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. As an Amazon Associate, Ranked Gifts earns from qualifying purchases.
Deleting your data
You can delete your Ranked Gifts account and all associated circles data from inside the iOS app. On-device data can be removed by deleting the app.
